Stayed up late grading. Thinking about songs that play themselves over in my head throughout the day. Wondering if it is some kind of mental feedback or static from previous listenings. Maybe death is like this. Just repetitions of conversations already conversed.

1st blog. Busy doing grades for students. Feeling the strain of transitional periods. About to move to new place. Obsessing over Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow. Can't get the image of the rocket hanging over my head (modern sword of damocles).
Summer's almost here and I plan to spend my days mashing buttons and trying to defy Gravity again. Maybe pick up alittle work here and there.
